Meet Our Founding Lady

Roma Daly

Roma grew up in Hobart, Tasmania, after her parents left the family farm in Dunalley to give their kids better opportunities. At just 19, she made her own move to the Gold Coast. She holds a degree in Exercise Science and is currently completing her Master of Social Work at Griffith University, because she believes our families deserve support built on the best knowledge available.

A proud Palawa woman, Roma flew under the radar at school as an undiagnosed ADHD girl. She loved learning and building relationships but never quite clicked with social norms, and carried chronic anxiety she couldn't yet name. It wasn't until 27 that she was diagnosed. That's exactly why she does this work: she knows what it costs a child to be missed.

Working alongside young neurodivergent kids, Roma saw that gap up close. Children masking, diagnoses coming far too late, and families juggling complex dynamics with little accessible support. So she built the systems and the team to fill it. Today she specialises in early intervention, families where multiple diagnoses sit under one roof, and single parents carrying it all. Her philosophy is family-wide support, not just 1:1, because integrating into the family dynamic is where real change happens.

Roma still works on the ground as a support worker and leads a close team, focusing on resource development, burnout prevention and safeguarding so her workers can be the best they can be. Alongside Chels, our Client Care Coordinator, she makes sure every participant and family feels supported, loved and genuinely progressing.

Roma is warm, approachable and easy to talk to. The kind of person you're glad walked through your door.
